Webmaster tools - Diagnostics - Malware

Malware insertion has happened to me and 3 other websites I manage over the last 12 years which is not a large percentage but it was a bad experience and very time consuming.
My approach is to cooly and calmly hit the big red PANIC! button.
Basically prepare yourself for a shitstorm that will take large chunks of your time for very little reward.
However the malware manifests itself (usually a code insertion into your webpages) it is liable to re-occur so make sure you change the FTP codes (userIDs passwords) and anything else you can think of to reduce the risk of a reoccurence.
