Hard Web pricing and clients Special Signature Newsletter

This email newsletter can be found on the web at http://www.hardweb.com.au/signaturenewsletter.html

Hello HardWeb clients!

Thanks for the great response to the newsletter about doing an email mailout and making sure your domain name is not about to expire.

Some of my customers wanted to know how to add a signature to your emails straight away without waiting till next month and I am not in the business of disappointing people so here we go...

Step 1.
Open Microsoft Outlook Express your email programme (Outlook is also similiar but if your email programme is not one of these two you shall have to wing it).

Go to Tools/Options/Signatures...

Easy so far.

Depending on whether you have attempted a signature before the top two boxes may be ticked or not.
I tick both, that is;

Add signatures to all outgoing messages, and,
Don't add signatures to replies or forwards

If you cant tick them yet Go to the button NEW.
Then go to the little round circle checkbox called Text in the bit below the big white box.
Here is a graphic to remind you of where you should be.

Add Signature box in Outlook Express

When you have ticked the circular checkbox (also called a "radio button") called Text then you can put your signature in that white box next to the radio button that you have "ticked" (meaning clicked on it to make it active).

My advice here is to just put your name and email to begin with because it always seems to require changes.
When you have finished click OK. making sure you ticked the top two boxes that I mentioned at the start of this instruction.

Now you can check it by clicking on new message or write message or however you write an email. The new Signature you have created should be in the body of the email (that's the big white box where you write the content of your email. Usually at this stage you will have to go back to Tools/Options/Signatures... and begin editing and adding to your signature. As you can see I include the whole shebang, name address phone mobile email web etc.

One of the things that you will notice that what you write in the box is not necessarily what you get in your email. If you look at my email signature below you can see those "hyphens"or "minus signs" at the top and bottom. They were really hard to line up! It seems to depend on what fonts you use for your email, anyway spacing is an issue!
Here is my (very warm) signature, and here endeth the lesson! Thanks for listening.
There is another exciting offer below the cartoon so keep scrolling!
warmest regards
